Now... This Is A Party

I was excited to hear that Dina Manzo is going to have her own show on HGTV, "Dina's Party."

Dina and her sister Caroline were my favorite New Jersey Housewives. It was quite a bummer when she left the show. So to find out she will be back on TV and doing a show on HGTV is a "win-win" in my book.

In Dina's "real life" she is a party/event planner and interior designer. My two most favorite jobs in the whole world. If I could do that and be successful, I would be one happy camper!

The show will focus on the party/event planning part of her business.

"In each episode of Dina's Party, Dina Manzo creates amazing, unforgettable events for her clients at their homes. Dina and the staff at her company, Designer Affair, work with her homeowners, transforming their space into something beautiful and unique to celebrate an important moment in their lives. Whether an incredible anniversary celebration, an over-the-top wedding or a festive graduation party, Dina's parties are memorable ones!" - HGTV.com

Dina's style is a bit more extravagant then mine, but I can't help to admire her and her work.

I couldn't end this post without mentioning the
charity work she does with her organization Project Ladybug. Their mission at Project Ladybug is to enrich the lives of children with life threatening conditions. Check it out, she really is inspiring. I know it makes me to want to be a better person.

So where will you be Monday night, Aug 15th @ 10pm? I know where I'll be.... at Dina's Party! (this episode is only a sneak peak at the show, not it's normal day or time slot)

What's The Rush?

Is it just me or does it seem like we rush through the seasons?

It's Aug. 14th and there's a tree in my yard that the leaves have already started to change.
The stores have been filled with the Back To School supplies since July.

Walmart has had mums out in front of the store for about a week now.

Not to mention I saw this magazine on the shelves just the other day!!
(Seriously?... I love Miss Paula Deen, but come-on)

Why can't we enjoy the season we are in? Why does the next season (or two) need to be shoved down our throats?

Let's all just stop and smell the roses, while it's still SUMMER!!!
